PENGURUSAN TENAGA UTeM
UTeM’s ENERGY MANAGEMENT
UTeM telah memulakan Sistem Pengurusan Tenaga sejak tahun 2015 dengan penuh komitmen secara berterusan menerusi Polisi Tenaga UTeM. Pada tahun 2018 UTeM telah bersetuju berkaitan perubahan Polisi Tenaga Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) kepada Dasar dan Garis Panduan Pengurusan Tenaga Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (DGP Tenaga UTeM).
UTeM has started the Energy Management System since 2015 with continuous commitment through the UTeM Energy Policy. In 2018 UTeM agreed on the change of the Energy Policy of Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) to the Energy Management Policy and Guidelines of Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (DGP Tenaga UTeM).
OBJEKTIF PENGURUSAN TENAGA UTEM

Untuk mengurangkan jejak karbon melalui pengurusan tenaga, air dan bahan api kenderaan yang cekap. To reduce the carbon footprint through efficient management of energy, water and fuel vehicles. |

Untuk mengurangkan penggunaan tenaga sebanyak tiga (3) peratus (%) setahun bagi setiap satu meter persegi ruang bangunan mulai tahun 2015. To reduce energy consumption by three (3) percent (%) per annum per square meter of building space from 2015. |

Untuk mengurangkan penggunaan tenaga sebanyak lapan belas (18) peratus (%) pada Tahun Fiskal 2020 bagi setiap satu meter persegi ruang bangunan (dengan menggunakan Tahun Fiskal 2014 sebagai asas). To reduce energy consumption by eighteen (18) percent (%) in Fiscal Year 2020 per square meter of building space (by using Fiscal Year 2014 as a basis). |

PEMBUDAYAAN UTEM BANGKIT BERSAMA CEKAP TENAGA
UTEM CULTIVATION RISE TOGETHER ENERGY EFFICIENT: -
Turn off all lights, fans, air-conds, computers, projectors and other electrical devices if not in use.
Close all doors and windows for air-conditioned spaces.
Set Air-conditioner temperature at 24oC -26oC.
Report to the management if it appears that there is a waste of electricity consumption. |
